Zhongnanhai is located in the Xicheng District of Beijing, right next to the famous Forbidden City. If you’re visiting the Forbidden City, you’re practically a stone’s throw away from Zhongnanhai. It’s in the heart of Beijing, so getting there is pretty easy. You can take the subway to Tiananmen West Station (Line 1) or Qianmen Station (Line 2), and then it’s just a short walk. Taxis and ride-sharing apps are also convenient options. Just keep in mind that Zhongnanhai is a highly secure area, so access is limited to the public. But don’t worry—you can still admire its grandeur from the outside!
