Considering multiple aspects such as fewer people, better experience, and no detours, we have arranged for the first day of visiting popular tourist spots in Chongqing without taking any check-ins.
The first stop is Ciqikou. It has the fewest people in the morning and is the best place to experience the authentic old Chongqing atmosphere. After reaching the third floor road from Ciqikou, you can conveniently get to Fotuguan Station to take the light rail. Then head to Liziba to experience Chongqing's three-dimensional transportation in all aspects. Then go to the top of the Laojun Cave Pagoda on Nanshan Mountain to enjoy tea and the scenery. After descending from Nanshan, you can just reach Shangxin Street, which is less crowded, to take the cable car. In the evening, you can enjoy the night view at Chongqing World Financial Center.
The daily itinerary can be completed by using the city subway and public transportation. To visit the Bashu Tower, you can take the subway or public transportation and get off at the Jiaochangkou Station. To visit the Jiefangbei and Hongya Gorge, you can walk there.
Chongqing is the birthplace of small noodles and hot pot. Most of its food varieties are characterized by their spiciness, freshness and aroma. With small noodle and hot pot restaurants springing up all over the country today, when visiting the mountain city, it is natural to try the most authentic Chongqing snacks. The delicious food street on Bayi Road in Jiefangbei is home to a wide variety of local delicacies, and there are also many well-known restaurants in the stilt houses of Hongyadong. You can choose to have meals in these two areas during today's itinerary.
A must-visit spot in Chongqing, conveniently located with well-developed facilities for dining, accommodation, entertainment, and shopping. Most travelers choose to stay here, with Jiefangbei, Dadian Plaza, the pedestrian street shopping center, Hongya Hole, Luhanshi Temple, and Chaotianmen Square all gathered here.
