Location & How to Get There

The Red Back Basket Education Base is tucked away in Huangshan Dian Village, Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, Beijing. This hidden gem sits about 70 kilometers southwest of downtown Beijing, near the famous Zhoukoudian Peking Man Site (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). To reach it, you can:

  • Drive: Rent a car and follow the G5 Jingshi Highway, then take the exit for Zhoukoudian. The final stretch to the village is lined with mountains and fresh air.
