Rates are value-friendly because Chongqing's hotel stock is deep — expect mid-range skyline hotels around 300–600 RMB.

Nanbin Road — the quieter across-the-river option

For a calmer night and the postcard panorama of the illuminated CBD across the Yangtze, stay along Nanbin Road (南滨路) in Nan'an. Boutique and chain properties trade a few minutes' metro for unobstructed skyline views and far less foot traffic than Hongyadong.
